I have an ae82 twin cam, and recently it's started to develop a rather annoying throbbing vibration or grinding noise which I believe is coming from behind the speedometer. Most likely it is coming from the speedo cable with where it connects to the back of the cluster.

The noise only appears about 50kmph, and becomes a constant noise at about 80 kmph.

I was wondering if anyone has encountered anything like this before, and how I could possibly fix it.

Thanks for any help in advance.
