my dad wants to put a vynal top onto my ta22 as it has rolled over and has a lil dint above the rear windscreen.

is this a good idea or will it look like bad??

my ta22 is blue so it will be a cream colour top.

opinions are good please reply

firstly Shocked rolled!!!??? WTF???

i dont like vynal roofs and they attract alot of moisture between the material and roof, hence easy rusting. i have spoken to celicaspares here in syd bout the vynal roofs and he was telling me bout the rust they get and stuff.

he said that he throws the car when he buys them with vynal roofs (after taking what he wants)...

Hi,

Dunno about up where you live, but in Castle Hill (Sydney) there's a place called "The Dent Man" and he specialises in removing these dents and hail damage etc. Also can do some stuff with fenders - but you'll need to rechrome 'cos the chrome usually cracks.
