make sure u get measurements from more than one car just in case the car your measuring off is out of alignment too. Remember these are 28 yrs old now.

If you can wait a few days I've got 2 RA28's next to each other I can get and confirm measurements. I just need to get down South to get them.

Hi Daniel,
Looks like you have got a "fun" job ahead of you there!
Not sure if it is just the picture, or if that is the way it is meant to be, but that left hand chassis rail doesn't look too healthy.
I'd also be interested to know these measurements for a TA-22, just to see the differences.
It would be a most useful "tech page" to have these dimensions made available for people wanting to work out "what engine can I fit in a ....???" & also helpful for straightening out cars like yours
Great camera work by the way, I hope you didn't fall off the car while taking it!

ok i decided to measure anyway, i am not sure where the points are though
point 1 goes off the picture...i assumed the first bolt on the other side...my measurement 560
point 2 goes somewhere in the middle of the engine bay, my meta rule refuse to bend to get this so i summised where you pointed that to and measured on the top...my measurement 500
point 3 i can't find the bolt hole on the front, there is one underneath the lip so i used that as a guide, again measured from the the top though...my measurement is 960
point 4 905
point 5 same as point 3 with measurement locations...500
point 6 this doesn't seem right but it was again 500
all measuremnts in millimetres
let me know if my measurements are taken from the wrong spot or if something doesn't seem right, it was a 5 minute window before i went to work this morning so was rushing.

Would a factory RA23/RA28 service manual have these dimensions? I have factory manual for my Cordia and it has them.

I'll try and get some measurements from my 23 soon. I'm working all day tomorrow but friday I'll be doing some sanding getting ready for my topcoat so I'll do it then.

I would confirm them on my RA28 shell, but its had some front right damage at some point (requiring welding to fix), so it probably not a good idea.
But because of this, i would be interested in these numbers too!

Is Nick still around? Last time I spoke to him was a few months ago and he'd closed the shop over at Logan Village. He told me he was going to try and start something online but haven't spoken to him since.

I think these are right, let me know if I'm wrong. Not sure if my car has been in an accident before, I definately know that someone has attempted to restore it previously though most of the work is around the rear.
1 - 565
2 - 580
3 - 955
4 - 905
5 - 500
6 - 560
I measured around a bit comparing left side to right sides and nothing seemed out, but again I'm not 100% sure if its correct.
Let me know if you need any other measurements.
