HedgehogSandwich Regular Location: UK Registered: May 2002	1jz weird vacuum pipe effect Wed, 25 August 2004 22:52 Hi all... me again anyway.. i've got silicon hose on most of my vaccum pipes.. recently the one that feeds the stock boost gauge (jza70) and also my after market boost gauge has been blowing off from the manifold. Anyway, the same thing happened tonight, but this time i was under full boost... suddenly the car lurched forward with far far more power than it normally has. Normally, i have loads of power in second (auto) and can accelerate hard, but once it switches to third it seems to lose all power..it still accelerates but nothing like it does in second. This time, when the pipe popped off (in 3rd and under hard boost) it accelerated like it does in second.. LOADS more power than normal.. but only for a second or two. After which , it went back to normal. Does anyone have any ideas or clues why? Cheers adi PS no its not the map sensor vacuum pipe before anyone says ..
