its possible with a lot of $
All new manifolds, everything - you need to start from scratch.
Are these the same as a gtr and have the front diff centre out the side of the sump?
if so, i dont like your chances.

I gather it's doable using the Jap 5 speed Sigma box/maybe even a Starion box. Obviously manifolds would be an issue. You probably need to try and find a bloke called Steve Knight, at least he used to be well known for pulling tricks like this.

i had a mate that had a VR4 motor in a GSR Sigma! so im assuming that its doable, i dont see why not. the only prob would be that u need lots of custom fabrications and finding a gearbox to fit might also be difficult man anything is possible with the right amount of money

it wont be as hard as a lot of people make it out to be. Depending on which box you use you will need a custom bell housing. and you will also need to modify the water pipe that comes out of the head as it will be at the back if you make it rwd. A few people have put these engines in rwd's. A quick example would be that green dato ute at the drags that has a vr4 motor in it.
Just dont beleive everything people tell you and ask a few of the work shops out there about what needs to be done.
Good luck with it all.

the last model of the starion(pumped out guards), came with a 2.7turbo(same block has the vans, cheap from korea)just get that half cut with the gearbox. Its problably cheaper, has a friend of mine (aussie starion) found that out too late.

Some (not all) Evo motors rotate backwards - like a VTEC Honda. So unless you want a car with 1 forward gear and 5 really fast reverse gears, a VR4 motor would be better.
VR4+starion box I would say. Still will be a lot of hassles.
I'd just turbo + inject a 2.6 sigma motor with custom manifolds, ecu etc.
