LOCATED IN BRISBANE
Hi guys
I purchased this car for $500 about weeks ago. As you can see there's a bit of damage on one side - I purchased it with the plan of giving it paint & panel straight away and having a stock, cheap, reliable & slammed daily driver with white walls (front mirrors too!). If you use a little imagination, you'll see exactly what I was planning.
Unfortunately as events have turned out I had a drama with my back on the weekend and ended up in the Emergency Room at my local hospital followed by surgery
The actual operation was nothing major, and I'll be fine in a month or so, but it has turned out to be rather expensive and now I just can't afford to do a second car (also building a 1JZ Corona). Not to mention the fact that I can't really work on a car for at least a month or two.
The car itself is a 1977 Toyota Corona RT104. It has the 18R engine and cool-for-cruising auto transmission. I have spent a further few hundred dollars on bits and pieces for the car.
The only things missing are the radiator and the air filter/intake pipe - aside from this the car seems generally roadworthy so I can't see it needing much.
I will sell for $350 ONO
Pictures of the car:
(shows dmaged front bumper - I have replaced this
(tear in passenger's seat, but driver's seat is good)
Picture of the damage:
(I was quoted $75 for a new guard and expect it would be about $200 to have it fitted)
If you don't plan to fix it up, it'd be a great parts car (air con for your 18R!), or a great paddock basher.
