What does "(custom)" mean with regards to the turbo?

Is it a DE with a turbo bolted on? Was the engine rebuilt to suit the turbo application, or at least a metal headgasket used? Has the fuel system been upgraded for the turbo?

Please give me specific details on the engine.

Thanks.

AE86SLUT looks like by the picture that a turbo was bolted on because the sr20 isn;t a red top or a black top. It look like a sr20 de with a turbo bolted on

Saw the car on wedensday night every things been done to convert it to turbo but the head gasket is still de. Looks pretty neat except for the front damage. My mechnic is doing a big inspection on it before i buy it on Monday and if it all goes well i will have a silvia soon.
