20V b/t VVT or vernier cam gears Mon, 13 September 2004 15:32
i've got a 20v black top with head work/increased compression etc. and some mild tighe cams... i've got aftermarket ecu so tuning wont be a problem.

What should i do? keep the vvt or go for vernier cam gears and dial in the cams? when the engine was tuned, the engine didnt respond much to ignition advances which usually means the cams are not working at the max potencial...? anyone with removed vvt? whats the 20v like without vvt?
