another 18r related question OIL PUMP

ive stripped my 18rgeu engine(has had a 18rc block used) and removed the oil pump (the 3 bolts near the crank). Ive gone to put it into my new block(also 18rc block) and found I only have 2 holes not 3. why is this? am I alright to leave one bolt out. I tried changing the oil shafts inside the pumps but they are different lengths and ive also been told that i cannot use the rc pump because it does no pump enough vloume. What do I do. Just leave the 3rd bolt out. Will 2 be enough?
