Hi.
Selling my 1991 Toyota SV21 Camry CSi as I'm looking to upgrade to a VX Commodore hopefully
It's the CSi model which is the third highest model of the time (SE -> Executive -> CSi -> CSx -> Ultima).
SE and Executive look pretty ****house but the CSi and upwards look A LOT better.
CSi comes with a nicer interior, aircon, AM/FM Radio Cassette Deck, power mirrors, and power steering standard.
Sits on a decent 2200rpm at 100KM/H.
Interior is in excellent condition although the exterior has a few dents etc
Got four new Yokohama S760 215/65 tyres (Winner - Wheels Tyre Test 2003) for the car last week ($460) and did a four wheel alignment ($55). Work done at Goodyear (have receipt).
Stats:
Kerb weight: 1230KG
Power: ~90KW
Engine: 3S-FE (4 cyl 16V DOHC EFI)
Kilometres: Approaching 217 000KM
Build date: December 1991
Transmission: Four speed Auto
Fuel Tank Capacity: 60L
Problems:
Minor damage to Left Front Panel - Dad was driving it and reversed out of a car park and accidently hit a pole.
Very minor damage to left front and back doors - Can't remember how this happened.
Small dent on boot lid near lock - Visible in pic, found this one day after car was parked at a shopping centre car park all day.
Front grille broke off, i'm sourcing another one.
Mechanically the car is perfect. I should hope so after spending about $3000 on it since ~190 000KM.
Got a Road Worthy Certificate for it late June, passed with no problems.
The car has been serviced every 5000-10000KM since it was purchased new and I have the log book to prove this and most of the detailed service records (can't find others). I'll see if the local garage will print off every service record for me though
I'll get some more pics of the exterior and interior soon.
I'm after $3900 since its just had new tyres put on but make an offer if you are interested.
Rego expires end of January 2005.
Seems like a reasonable price as earlier and lesser models sell for above $4000.
