Hey guys...
I've got a cooling issue with my ute...
Its got a set of extractors that basically wrap around the starter...
i've noticed when doing a bit of circle work that the heat of the extractors is devastating !!
Just last week it melted my clutch cable that is a good 200mm away !
I'm thinking about getting some heat wrap for the extractors as a tempory fix until i change the head which will need new pipes...
Will this stuff stand upto the abuse of this kind of heat ? I get the impression its more for normal driving, not dyno runs and burnouts....
I know the HPC coating is the way to go, but my extractors are pretty crap and will be replaced within 12 months...
thanks,
Cam
