TA22 70% ready for Improved Production class.
Previously a log booked rally car this vehicle has been completely stripped and rebuilt for circuit racing in Improved Production class.
Currently comes with 2TGEU (+T50) running Solex's but injection manifold supplied if required. Engine is what came with the car and seems to run ok. Does not have fuel or electricity at the moment.
*Mostly Straight and very rust free body fitted with NEW Bond 6-Point steel cage. Some small dents in front guards and ripples on left rear quarter.
* Newly fitted Hilux diff with 4:3 open centre
* Brakes: NEW Commodore Rotors and Recon Hilux 4-spot calipers on front, NEW Commodore rotors and calipers on rear. In-cabin bias valve, GT4 3/4 inch master cylinder, NEW brake lines throughout, NEW Pads, NEW Bearings, NEW Seals, NEW Landcruiser studs. Custom alloy bracket braces master cylinder to strut tower.
*Fuel System: Built for Injection from all NEW parts. Plastic foam filled tank mounted on custom alloy panel in original tank position and acts as strut brace. High and low pressure pumps, Alloy Surge Tank, all NEW Lines and Fittings included. NO fuel lines to front of car though.
* Wheels: CSA 15x7 Alloys x 4 with Commodore stud pattern to match hubs on vehicle....NEW
* NEW aluminium interior panelling
* NEW Ball Joints and Tie-Rod ends
* NEW Alloy Dash
This vehicle was intended to be fitted with 3SGTE for serious hunting of rotary's on race tracks and has been prepared to the absolute best of my ability and budget. No shortcuts have been taken including the replacement of most nuts, bolts etc. with stainless items mostly allen bolts.
To complete:
*Suspension - Currently has Monroe gas shocks and sloppy springs
* Tailshaft - Needs to be custom made
* Electricals - car has none
* Fuel lines
* Safety equipment including Seat, Harness, Net, Extinguisher etc.
* Clutch slave cylinder and line from GT4 clutch master
This is not a buy today/ drive tomorrow option and is best suited to someone who is serious about beginning racing. All the really hard work is done and done right!!
I am selling due to a change in circumstances which have allowed my to play with my SW20 MR2 on the racetrack instead of this car.
I WILL NOT WRECK OR SEPERATE PARTS!!!!!
Will post photo's soon.
