Ok. My brother is still on his Ls and we have all manual cars at home. I think he wants to get his license on an auto first.
Looking at a car for about 2-2.5k with rego.
Considering a
88 camry wagon
or mid 80s corona wagon
or around 84-85 model camry hatchback (we've had one previously)
or corolla wagon (those 4wd ones)
Are the auto boxes in all these pretty robust? Need a car that can chuck a board in the back, not give a sht about and pull to bits and fix if necessary with cheap parts.
I suppose injected would be better, I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out in the trading post.
