K-MAC are a big name but I've heard people talk down the K-MAC strut tops. Complaints like poor adjustment range, poor fit, poor durability.
Noltec do two different types of strut top; one with a polyeurethane insert and one with a plain metal sandwich plate. They're both the same price. The metal one is supposed to be used with spring rates over 300lb to prevent pounding on the compliant polyeurethane, but does it have a greater range of adjustment too?
Are either of those Noltec tops 'better' than the K-MAC tops? If so, why?
