What Gearbox/Drivetrain ? 4A-GZE into RA23 Wed, 09 October 2002 05:23 Go to previous message
Maybe im shit at configuring searches ... but does anyone here have a first generation celica with a 4AGZE in it?

Im interested in converting an RA23 i was goign to buy for rally/daily-driving purposes, and while there seems to be heaps of information regarding the conversion from FWD to RWD in terms of engine mounts, relocation the alternator/water/oil plumbing ... seems no one has mentioned the gearbox...

So, If I put an overdrive pulley with the SC12, what drivetrain would be recommended for this application? I'm guessing there'd be around 140rwkw then? does a T50 bolt more-or-less straight up, and handle that power.

Also, I had a bookmark for a guy that makes custom torsen LSDs ... anyone else know that bloke's address?

TIA

Esteban
