Greetings to all,
I'm a brand new member so be gentle
I've got a TA-22 with a chopped top (Truly a thing of beauty, I'm recieving compliments despite the fact the paint job is cracking and orange peeled) But the time has come for me to seek advice from those who know what they're doing bcoz mechanicals are not my bag baby.
I need the right exhaust note for my beloved cruiser. With her stock 2T and pipes she has the looks of a mustang and the voice of me granny's corona. And while I'm sure the corona is a fine car, my baby needs some rumble. So the big question while similar to a previous thread is slightly different.
Is there an engine out there (preferably something with 6) that'll go into a TA-22 nicely, and give a sweet rumble with the right pipes? This isnt a quest for power, just the right noise for a cruiser. Thanking ya'll for ur time.
P.S. Just quickly, I refuse to rice boy her. Most advice I've recieved elsewhere is to put a paintcan sized exhaust tip on her, and I just cant do it to such a beautiful shape. Max exhaust size is 2 3/4 inch, although twin exhaust is a possibility (tho pointless on 4 cylinders I believe).
