TPS, microtech, 18r-geu problem Sun, 26 September 2004 13:43 Go to previous message
hey,
i have a problem. i have an RA23 celica with an 18r-geu engine. i am using a Microtech MT4 ecu, with no throtle position sensor. my mechanic tells me that he can not find a tps which will both fit the intake and correctly interface with the ecu. he says that te car will just stall when hooked up to a tps. he then rang microtech and they suggested a ford tps, which he could not get to fit.
this is the point in which my mechanic gave up, but not without charging me mind you.

any ideas on how i can fix my problem?
thanks.
