eeep! Got pulled over coming home at 3:45am after work last night... Apparently the cop saw me take off up Market St in the city, so gave chase.. he caught up to me when i stopped for an orange light after Anzac Bridge (that's usually a good 5 minutes or so drive). He said he would've loved to book me, except he couldn't verify my speed as he hadn't been able to catch up!! (he told me he'd been going 120 across Anzac bridge )
So after a stern lecture, a license check/breathalyser, and then another very stern lecture, i was free to go.. Think i'm going to be sticking religiously to the speed limit for quite some time to come after that little episode.. I always think that i'm going to see them if there's any Police around, but i guess you never can be sure...
Anyone know if this is likely to be a black mark against my license plate? ie - will cops in the city start pulling me over at random and shit?
Should buy myself a lottery ticket!
