The Newcastle foreshore is where everyone with a modified car must go, not sure why but it is a time honoured tradition.

If you build it, they will come...

If more people organised things, then the WHOLE cruise thing wouldn't die would it? Cool

Been there tried that...

Everytime I organise a cruise, I get like 3-4 people turn up...

Just noticed that there has hardly been any cruise activity on the forums lately, especially the newcastle/central coast area or even northern sydney area...

just my 2 yens worth...

http://www.palmy.net.nz/mr2dog/photos/AW11/martin-1987-aw11-2.jpg
the hill climb is situated 1 km from the foreshore.
They have just finished upgrading the hillclimb and the surrounding area. Its so much fun

Sorry Dan (I can't help but feel a little responsible for this), but my gearbox has shat itself so my car's temporarily off the road. Once I've spent another small fortune getting her back up & boogying, there will be a biiig cruise. I should have a whole load of nice new parts installed I'll want to test out.

In the meantime, I gotta hassle my bro to fork out for some new suspension in the cressida, only then will I bring it out on a cruise.....

Nice pic of the old MR2. Is that in King Edward Park (is that the right name?)

The best way to get a cruise going is to get some of your friends together put up one post of where and when and then go.

Wait five minutes at the spot on the day and then leave. If people need to know more than where and when then the chances are they need too much convincing to turn up anyway.

Old road cruises are better with only about 5 cars, plus you will probably meet other cruises if you go on the right nights
