Satoshi : the guards you see in the pics are the original metal ones that were cut but its not very sound & has cracked since.... but I did have enough time to make a mould of the guards so fibre glass ones are in place of the originals now.
Cardar911: I ended up with a conversion cost of about 3.5-4k the coversion its self is rather simple. Im still using the T50 box wich is a bolt up with a flywheel change.
The car its self lacks power (compared to what im used to) so im in line looking at a turbo conversion.... im still having dramas with the car only running 5psi, also im in need of an LSD so that is on the list of priorities

The front bar is great, i like the lines it has, fairly sharp to suit the lines of the sprinter. skirts look good too, and look great with the vented guards!

is there an echo in here?!
sprinter plastics can be easily painted, just give em a good wax and greave off, and spray at your hearts content, hell the dash even likes it !

Yeah i sprayed them, But I pulled all the pannels out (bar the dash, done it once before... never again) preped them sprayed them & bolted em back in.
The stock Poo brown & curry poo brown did nothing for me & as mildly ricy as it may be it looks better than before & it will go with my future paint plans

The bar seemed to "busy" with the indent at the top ( in my opinion. getting the panda line isnt that hard, have a look at the guards I did that by eye.
The car is at my place at the moment so if you wanna come through & have a look just send me a PM & I will give you the details.

Another Rare Two Tone Silver/Black one , Is it going to Stay that way ?
Very tough looking front bar that , and lots of open area for cooling . And it doesn't look really low too the lip so the car would be drivable in Melbourne speed hump city .
Any idea if that car was first delivered into SA ? Pm me the last five numbers of the vin i wouldn't mine seeing how far away from mine the build was .
pics of mine at > http://www.pbase.com/ae86sr20det2005
Keep up the good work

hey good work, looks very "mean". hey i'm just curious. did you import that 86? cos i know there were no australian delivered levins that came factory in the two tone design. to my understanding only the gt-apex's and the gtv's came with the factory two tone and occasionally a usdm sr5 would turn up in the two tone design. so i'm just curious where you or sr20 adam got their panda 86's especially in grey.
thanks

As far a the two tones in the silver/black , as far as i can tell after questioning the ex Toyota purchasing manager at the time of the sprinters being imported there where only three ? Well as far as he remembers . And from his memory all where delivered into SA , mine was sold there at that stage as well . There where apparently a complete ordering stuff up with someone being confused between body and interior codes . I don't know about MFX's one , or Sam's one where they where sold . Funny that all the ones that have turned up on this forum are now not standard , and maybe the only three have all survived
Mine was owned by a girl in SA , here father who is a mechanic up there made here buy a Toyota from new since he never wanted to fix here car { which apparently never did } .She used it only for driving between SA and Melbourne to see her boyfriend / later husband down here . The only reason she sold it was as part of his work package at holden he got a astra as a second car for her .
