Are shite in my opinion. I drove on some the other day (195 50 15s) and there is a total lack of feedback and response due to the tyre's uber-soft sidewalls.
Just thought I'd post for anyone who's in the market for new tyres.

Hi,

I recently got a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 205/55 15inch and they're great. The car handles and rides well, and the tyres are very quiet. They grip well in dry and are great in the wet also.

Very nice tyre, so I dunno what you're on about. Confused

I agree with the grip/noise factors, but it just seems to me that the tyre is very compromised - rides very well for a low profile, but absolutely no feel, the 195 60s that I used to have gave more feedback (on the same car).
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh...

i love mine!! 195/50/14's
hang on well in the dry, and VERY well in the wet everry time it rains im suprised at theire grip, my old tires if you touched the throttle arund a corner u'de spin (3tc)
now with the 3tg and eagle F1's i can open it up a fair amount and hold traction! theyre awesome buddy your insane
and seem to have a huge amount of tread on them too, even with the odd burnout and sideways action they still look like new to me, 3 months later

They're at 32PSI
I have no complaints about grip, just the lack of feedback for a performance tyre.

Actually, I found the dry grip to be quite average compared to its competitors. In the rain, it was a totally different story though.

As for tyre pressure, 32 is a bit low isn't it? For a 50 profile tyre, I'd be running 36-40psi.
