Yes i just had a night of hard driving, after boosting the temp would rise from %40 to %50 on the temp guage, not really anything to worry about. But after i got home i thought i'd feel how hot the oil cooler was, to see that is was actually cooling my oil.

The oil cooler was complety cold! Shit this can't be good! I don't know how long it's been like this, i suspect ever since i got the car, becuase the temp would always rise abit after even a small boost, and it smells like burning hot oil when i open the hood. One thing I do know is that my turbo engine doesn't appreciate boiled oil! Mad

Since the oil cooler is cold the oil must not even be passing thru the oil cooler so it's blocked? If it's blocked then that's really bad as the oil has nowhere to go to lubricate the engine properly.

I would like to know if others have felt their oil cooler after driving, and if it's ment to be hot or cold? Maybe i'm worrying over nothing and it's cold becuase it really cools the oil that well? i doubt that very much tho.

Crying or Very Sad
