The Igniters function Thu, 07 October 2004 08:01 Go to previous message
I have been reading up on toyota ignition systems a bit but I havent been able to find a source that explains the function of an igniter.

Is it an amplifier for an ECU signal, or does it function as more of a sensor?

Basically, what does the bloody thing do hehe, and what would be the symptoms if one isnt functioning correctly??
