Sythetic tranmition oil in A340 Fri, 08 October 2004 00:41 Go to next message
Can i use sythetic ATM in the A340.. I know sythetic oil is a better oil and more heat resistant so just wanted to know if the trany will be ok with it..and i know you can't mix mineral with sythetic...so i have to drain out all off the old oil out of the box first...
The A340 holds about 2 litres is this correct?? Thanks ppls

not sure about the synthetic issue but the A340 should hold 1.6L if it the same as the 1jz one.

have a look at your auto dipstick and see what it recommends on there. Then do a search on auto a340 fluid and you will get a heap of responses Smile

Just check to make sure that the 1g auto uses the same fluid as the 1jz auto. I can't remember.
