I have just recieved a scanner that is new and unused, due to an upgrade( the scanner i gor was part of a deal) and the other scanner was not needed. Well I thought Because I got this one for free I would give my SCSI Scanner away, as it was a few years old.
I gave it away at a garage sale to someont I did not know, and no I did not check if this scanner worked!!!
If anyone knows or used this type of scanner it would be much appreciated for assistance.
It is a ARTEC AM12U SCANNER
I have tried both connections USB and Parrallel
I have installed software every which way!
Problem 1. The MGI Suite software program opens the
first introductory page, but upon selecting "photos
from scanner", or any action that relies on the
scanner it "freezes up", does not respond and reboots
Windows.
Problem 2. Sometimes instead of freezing up it
provides me with a "blue screen" that says
An exeption OE has occurred at 0028:C0031238 in VxD_ _
_ This was caused from 0028:C0002F9DD in VxD _ _ _
Anyone Own this Brand of Scanner
