Exhaust Drone - Dumpie v's Straight pipe Mon, 14 October 2002 07:16 Go to previous message
Hi,

How much of a cars exhaust drone is caused by having a dumpie tip on it?? I'm sick of driving home from the city at 80kph and having to just put up with the drone especially after a loud gig whne my ears become very sensitive.

If i was to change my tip to a straight pointer or boner type (bent up) tip.. would that decrease the drone.

At the moment i have a 3 inch dump onto the road.

Luke
