Hi all

I own a supercharged toyota hilux 4wd 4y-c motor sc14 charger.
Took it on stockton beach for a drive the other w/e and the intake temps were dangerously high.

I am chasing opinions/info on the best intercooler setp to run. At this stage i think it will have to be top mount possibly with bonnet vent (patrol style)

I need to find an intercooler that is most suited to low speed driving where there is not too much airflow. I.e hard 4 wheel driving. I will possibly be running water injection aswell.

I know this kind of driving is different to what you guys set your cars up for, but i dont know much about intercoolers so i'm hoping you guys can help.

The guy that dynoed my car said an rx7 series 4? 1989 model intercooler would be good as they are very efficient but recommended water injection too. he had one of these coolers in his shop and it looked like it would fit under the hood ok but i would not have much room to go too much bigger.

pics and dimensions of coolers would be a great help too

please help

Craig
