i am guessing they are either off some V8, or poorly designed.
primaries 1 and 3 are joined, and 2 and 4 are joined, as opposed to 1 and 4 and 2 and 3 being joined on a properish 4 cylinder setup, unless the 18RG has a cross plane crank or something

ahh thanks, yep, found in the back shed, i remember they
might be off my brother old 18RG. As for poor design? -- i don't know...
