Hi guys, thanks for the interest but I think I'll just sell it all as is, complete car. There is not enough time in my day to pull it all apart and ship $2 parts here and there. If anyone wants to take the entire car off my hands let me know. I am prepared to fit a fuel pump to it so it runs and can be demonstrated as a runner for anyone. As for pricing, a 7MGTE halfcut costs around $2000 so thats my price. It has an LSD and a whole lot more then a halfcut would provide so I think thats more then fair. Plus it covers my towing costs etc to get it back to my place.
I can ship to Sydney for $275 and Melbourne for $400
Sorry to those who are put out by my decision, but who-ever buys it may decide they have the time to part it up, so its not all bad.

Not sure, will get a quote for adelaide.
Body is good, straight and generally rust free. Bumpers have been scuffed on corners as usual and theres a couple of paint chips which has surface rust started on.
All electrics work, except the fuel pump as stated.
Please note, the car is not complied and if thats your intention then the car will have to be shipped to NZ and back with another approval put in to dotars for 15yr.
I bought it for the engine, but dont have the time nor the room to procede at the moment.

you will need to change the sump as the MX83 has front sump I think, and the Soarer has rear sump. If you just use the MX83 engine/gearbox mounts brackets etc it will drop right in.
Im not sure what diff the Aus spec MX83 was given but the jap GX81 turbos had a G series, but with a different carrier to the MZ20/JZA70 etc. The internals will interchange though, if you have a G series diff code

Confirmed shipping costs are as follows, depot to depot.
Brisbane to Sydney $275
Brisbane to Melbourne $385
Brisbane to Adelaide $310
Adelaide is cheaper then Melbourne only because car carrier sends 6 trucks a day to Adelaide for carrying new holdens around.
