just got some 14" rs watanabe wheels for it and also undecided if i should put my te27 fender mirrors on the front but apart from that its finished until i feel the urge to play with cars again
- complete respray in original olive green inc engine bay etc
- lowered 4 inches, does bang over big bumps though
- SL tacho dash, steering wheel, hubcaps (a lot of heartache to find all this!)
- complete retrim from floor to roof including brand new genuine crash pad
- original 12" rims w/whitewalls (to be replaced with new rims above)
- ke20 brakes (to be replaced with 'earlyrolla' conversion)
- warm 4k motor
- 3k head, heavily ported + fully reconned, sitting on new ACL HG + brand new genuine new head studs
- aftermarket cam, elec dizzy, 40mm webers, aftermarket oil cooler, carter fuel pump + holley reg
- ke30 4 speed, 4 puck ceramic/metallic sprung centre clutch
- lots of braided lines and speedflow fittings
- every rubber seal that could be replaced with nos or repro parts has been replaced
- brand new genuine lenses fitted to the entire car
- freshly rebuilt elec dizzy (ie 2 weeks ago)
- fresh big $ tune by john at kent town dyno (best weber tuner in SA) and drives very well
EDIT - i have an eoi thread for this car in the cars for sale section

thanks for your comments guys
heres the latest news
- started prepping my watanabe wheels for paint (then need tyres)
- this afternoon yet another exhaust manifold gasket has let go
- idle is about 1300 rpm too high when warm
- used $30 of bp ultimate to drive out to the barossa valley and back
so hooray i need to take it off the road again and waste even more money on the damn thing
plans for the next few months :
- buy and fit front swaybar
- put in new tie rod ends and ball joints which have been sitting in the shed for 12 months
- get radiator overflow and oil catch can made up + put it all together with yet more braided lines and pointlessly expensive but nice looking fittings
so in summary i am a bit pissed off with it at the moment but i guess thats the nature of the beast
ps no it wont be ready for small car sunday for the 2nd year in a row!

| err - that can probably be explained by those big arse carbies hanging off the side of your engine dude!!!
That has to be one of the sweetest KE10s I've seen in ages though, good work! If you ever see a grey early 1988 GT4 being driven by a git (me), then honk!

between 3.5 and 4psi before the gauge decided to shit itself and piss fuel out everywhere so i couldnt be 100% what its running now
took it out for 15 mins on the weekend and its not driving all that well. need to spend some cash getting carbs set up again....

that car is dead set sweet.
I have got a KE25 that when it gets going will be powered by a 2-litre 2T (bored, 3T crank and rods) engine running dual 48mm DCOE webers, some very psycho head work and an aggressive bump stick - go pushrods!.
I am just waiting for my dad to get his engine off the engine stand so I can get stuck into it!
I hope mine will look half as good as yours

I don't know what it is...but I think old Toyotas with white walls + original hub caps + lowered look far better than the same cars with mags and all the other bling bling stuff.
I am now considering hunting down some TA22 hobcaps + original steel wheels
