Hey all, This is a very regretable sale for me!
I am forced to sell my 21-R due to lack of space, the engine was fully built by me (i am an auto machinist/ engine reconditioner) aprrox 18 months ago although the engine itself was only in use for 9 months due to my car (TA22) being in an accident.
THE ENGINE (at time of rebuild): has been bored .020" oversize, new alloy (lighter)fully floating pistons, whole bottom end (including crank, con-rods and pistons) have been lightened and balanced, brand new brass welch plugs through out.
THE HEAD: Is a BRAND new one never used and is still in box (fully reocnditioned), it has monsterous intake and exhuast ports, chambers and exhuast ports have been polished, all valves are polished multi faced valves, valve seats are extremely hardened and have a 1mm seating face, double lined tightened valve springs and a monsterous billet dragway cam (custom built by 'wade camshafts'), head has been decked mildly to increase compression.
EXTRAS: comes with set of extractors, and a custom built intake manifold which suits twin 40mm sidedraft delauto carbies (carbies not included), the water pump back housing (part of the timing cover) has been weleded for reinforcement to avoid cracking (a common toyota problem).
all reciept for parts bought for this engine have been kept including the invoice for the engine rebuild.
