supra86 Occasional Poster Location: NSW Registered: May 2003	1jz overheating Wed, 27 October 2004 05:40 I found my car was overheating (or that is what my gauge is telling me) when I was in the freeway doin around 140k/ph, within 1 minute the gauge would rise to the top and as I slow down the gauge would drop back down to normal. Been to a couple of mechanics some say it's the: 1. Thermostat or turbo water line or some shit faulty. But I know it's not overheating to the max cos I pop the bonnet immediately after I saw the temp. at the gauge, the reservoir was warm n hoses are too. 2. block radiator - if it's block the car will overheat in traffic in winter or summer (constant stop, start) but it doesn't 3. faulty temp. sensor or gauge.
