interesting trip to uni

on my way to uni just now a few interesting things happened. 
first, i arrived at a set of lights at pole position with one of those early '90s magnas sitting there with fully sic plastic 5 spoke rims and an exhaust tip. the passenger wound down his window looked at my ae86 levin and said "hey, $200 will get you some nice chrome centre caps for those rims, it will make your car look heaps better" - smart ass. yeah rite, chrome centre caps, my rims are not even chromies (they are impul mesh style rims similar to the bbs design).
anyway, as the lights went green we took off. we were both turning right (as it was a t-junction) as we took off, my wheels were spinning slightly but i was still keeping speed with the magna (who was on the inside of the corner). as soon as my tyres gripped, i flew straight past them obviously i reached the next set of lights before them. and as they rolled to a stop, they didnt even stop next to me on the line. not so smart now, punks 
at green, they took off again but i didnt bother, no point beating them twice
next, as i got onto the freeway i was cruising next to one of the 92.9 road runners (one of those 4 wheel drives). but they had nova 93.7 on their stereo !!
and a little bit further on i saw a sprinter come onto the freeway. so i caught up to have a look and it was a full rally spec one - coooool
we gave eachother a smile and a thumbs up and we went our separate ways - nice
