Mon, 01 November 2004 05:25 after finding a small crack in my rad..i decided to take a trip down to the wreckers with a tape mesure and get some sort of replacement..i found on a nissan shelf..a 3 core rad which a radiator place thinks is from an Urvan..bottom hose is good..and the top hose is on the other side..fortunatly supercheap..repco..etc stock a long S shape that goes straight on! $50 to flush/reco the rad..$50 for the rad in the first place..so $100 plus $20 for the hoses.. and i came away with a 3 core rad that literally holds three times the capacity of the old one.. what is the normal upgrade for 86's?
