ta22 engin conversion Wed, 03 November 2004 00:23 Go to previous message
hello all, I have recently aquired a ta22 shell for $200. All it is missing is an engin, gearbox and drive shaft. The engin that was in it was a 2tgeu. My brother bought the whole car very cheap but only wanted the engin to go into a ke20 corolla. so he sold me the shell for cheap. The only problem with the body is it was in a minor front ender, it has little to no rust, but really needs a new coat of paint. Now what i need to know it what would be a good, and relativly simple conversion. i would like to steer away from the 18rg (too many have this conversion). I was thinking a six, maybe a 1jz, but if that would bee to hard of a conversion, maybe a 4age.

Thanx in advance.
