It has been converted to manual before I got it. When I got it it was turbo, manual, and aero. Thats why I bought it.

Theres LOTS more info on my site.

It does. Although I'm in the process of "finishing" the car. So I've got a small list of things to do:

replace center cap (in general car talk)
refurbish center console
replace fog light (ozcraig has one for me, and I think jaze has one too)
dodgy spray paint rear bumper again
...
...
...
rewire birdsnest & hook up cruise control again. Probably with Sideshow's help.

Thanks mate, coming from a master photographer such as yourself, its a good compliment Smile It does look pretty sh1t hot like that. I need to get clear side indicators though, but I don't want to go LED.

One of the guys at work commented that that was the best pic of the lot. I might change my homepage to that one ... maybe in a few days.

Clear side indicators - HORN!

Thank you all for your kind words Embarassed

Thinking about it now, I should've taken the roof off too. Just for that extra "ooooh, aaaaah".

Never been a big fan of bling.

You need to take some similar shots in an undercover carpark, or on a deserted road. Pictures of cars always look awesome on their bitumen home Very Happy

A carpark? ewww Confused Like I'd take my car to one of those!

Deserted road could be good. Espescially if it was deserted in the background and could see the road go straight back for ages.

Very nice car Suprapete. I´m very curious regarding the engineswap. Do you have any enginepics available?
Regarding the white sidemarkers, the pic above shows just a photoshop right? Did you get it done yet and if so, which ones did you use?
I myself had the rear white markers that can be found in the US, put in the front instead. This is how it turned out:

Theres a lot of engine pics both in the Gallery here (on the left menu) and also on my site.

Yes my indicators are PAINTshopped (as you can tell because the original immage is directly above it)

Those side indicators look great! How hard were they to fit? How do I get a set myself?

Ok, I will check that out.

I put down a thread some time back on Supraforums and it tells how it is done, http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?s= &threadid=192043&highlight=sidemarkers

You can find these at Suprasport, TitanMotorsports and propably at a handful others as well. There has to be some shop close to you that carries them.

Thomas

My reccomendation:

  1. Find a tuner that wants the best for your car.
  2. Put whatever computer on they say
  3. Do whatever else they say regarding injector sizing/fuel pumps/fuel regulators/ignition bits.
Do whatever else they say regarding injector sizing/fuel pumps/fuel regulators/ignition bits.

I really think a good tuner is better than a good computer.

SupraPete - car is looking good man, the clear side markers would finish things off at the front - good idea!

Where did you get the front clear indicators from??

I can't remember where they're from, but you can find them in lots of places.

suprastore is generally good http://www.suprastore.com/clearcorfron.html

Can't remember actual weight (I'll check next time I look at the papers in the car). But its about 50kgs lighter than stock, so should be about 1540kgs.
