240jz Occasional Poster Registered: January 2004	help, I think I bust my 1jz Thu, 04 November 2004 10:07 In a last ditch effort to get my car ready for a trackday tomorrow, I was changing diff oil and and checking everything drivetrain-wise was tight, I had the front of the car jacked up on the front cross member, than bang! it fell off the jack.. The jack gouged a 50p sized chunk of (thin) aluminium from the area just behind the fanbelt type pulleys on the front of the engine... How bad is this!?!?! I am panicking right this minute, and hope it isn't an engine out job. would it be possible to make a temporary repair on this. This piece of aluminium fell out, and is a perfect match for the hole, so I'm hoping that no bits found there way inside the engine.. Pleas help, what can I do to fix it!?!?
