I just got an MX83 and when the engine is cold it is really dead when I try to accelerate - to the stage where I risk my life pulling out of my drive into the traffic and often have to accelerate. It livens up about 3 km down the road. Is this intentional to protect the engine, or have I got some sort of problem?
