Still getting hot? Sun, 07 November 2004 01:27 Go to previous message
Went for a cane through the hills yesterday and my car still persisted to overheat, there was no problems when i was driving only when i stopped after a hard cane, the problem then is when you start driving it again it takes a while for it to cool down again, the cooling system has been flushed, it isnt burning or laking coolant, there is no milk in the oil, i have it narrowed down to a couple of things, one the water pump is rooted or two the clutch fan has bitten the dust...

I am considering putting the biggest thermo fan on i can find and getting rid of the clutch fan all together becuase when i am stopped it will cool the mofo down good, i hope Confused

If that fails then i will have to chuck on one of my spare water pumps, if that fails then god knows what?

Any ideas here people?
