on an ae86 alot of ppl like to have a spacer to bring the wheel closer for drift. With the extended kit you don't need a spacer, which can cost about 40bucks.
aw11s have a problem with standard length boss kits as the indicator stalk is too close to the wheel, this is an extended kit so it solves this also.
