icon5.gif  Stuffed wheel bearings? Wed, 10 November 2004 00:38
After fitting my new discs & getting the calipers modded so they are centred, I'm getting a rubbing noise from the left front wheel when driving around bends hard.

Not sure if this is the disc hitting the caliper or tyre hitting strut.

I don't think its the second one as it happens on both left & right hand corners (ie on right handers the top of the tyre is forced away from the strut and shouldn't hit)

Is there any way to tell if the bearings are stuffed?
I've never had any go before.

What is the best way to tell?
