Leaky exhaust/turbo manifold?

Hey guys,
Since I'm not too technically minded I thought I'd put this to some of you. I just got my radiator reco-ed and after installing it and bleeding out the air bubbles I noticed smokish type air coming from the exhaust side of the engine. Couldn't pinpoint exactly where its coming from, but its definitely towards the front of the engine kinda down past below the rocker cover seals. Got me worried but after I took the car out for a fang (to test the radiator), got back and popped the bonnet again, the smoke's miraculously disappeared?
Now, I'm definitely sure its smoke and not water vapour. I was looking at it for a good 10 mins to make sure (water vapour would have all evaporated by then considering how hot the exhaust manifold can get). Could it be incomplete sealing between the manifold and the head? Like when it gets heated up enough, the expansion of the metals seal it tightly? I got no idea, any suggestions/comparisons/anything will be appreciated.
Yian
P.S. Ehh... sorry 'bout the read.
