Wheel & Tyre Weight Info within. Tue, 16 November 2004 03:18 Go to next message
For what it is worth, I weighed the rims and tyres in my garage the other night, to work out the weight my custom tyre rack will need to withstand. Here are the numbers:

Standard RA23/28 steel rim with 185 65 14 Hardcock tyre 17kg
Standard RA23/28 steel rim with 195 60 14 Yoko 032R comp 16kg
Soarer 15 x 6 alloy with 225 50 15 Yoko 032R comp 16kg
14 x 6 chrome spoked aftermarket rim 195 65 14 Goodyear GA 19kg

No pics mate but they look damn good and you are welcome to see them in person anytime you are down this way (Victoria Park/Burswood). We can talk about PC's as well.
Let me know - thanks,
Mitch.

Roll on the 24th then...... Nod

Hmmm, yes, on topic is a topical thing of late, if you have read the other threads I have been commenting on. Wink

I have some Bridgestones 215 or 225 (not sure which) on another pair of 15 x 6 Soarer rims and if you want to see them on your car, I can drag out the trolley jack and wheel brace and we can sling them on.

Good luck with it all mate.

Cheers,
Mitch.

Nah tis all good. I've got some 16x7" rims lined up for my XX. I'm just keen to see what such massive tyres look like on the 6" rims Razz

225/50R16 all round is that I'll be having eventually.

These are my Enkei rims. They are (i think) 14x6 and weigh <13kgs with Yokohama 195/60 A520? tyres.

Just the thing for a Datsun, i mean... AE86.

Does anyone know what these are made of, or how much they're meant to cost?
