4AG oversized valves Tue, 16 November 2004 07:48 Go to next message
I'm finally going to get a 4AG head done, and want to look at all avenues so far as valves go. While I'm still looking into the idea of using 7M valves, does anyone have any other recommendations for new oversized (possibly stainless) valves? Oh, and an idea of how much they cost Evil or Very Mad

I rang him today - actually came across that rarity, someone reasonably helpful. Looks like he might have talked himself into a bit of work Cool

Seems so. Hopefully my head will flow pretty well sometime soon. Actually, come to think of it, that'd be YOUR old head getting the treatment Very Happy

So hows your car hey?

hmmm, stripped a 4AGE at work today, and stripped a 7M, will look into the sizing of them both 4 u, and see what else my work reckon would be good,

how much bigger could u go, would it be worth it {btw, i have no idea what else u have done to the engine}

Yeah I've got some 7M valves and a couple of 4AG heads, just got to get them back off of someone.. I was intending to look into this option, should it be suitable. However, I understand the valves are shorter, plus if I'm feeling sufficiently cashed up I'd love the custom stainless ones. I'm looking for as much flow as possible through the head, building a somewhat tough turbo engine.
