I have little understanding of computer networking, but here goes;
I want to connect my xbox up to xbconnect via my laptop. With my limited resources and inclination to spend $$, I want to know if the following is possible, in terms of connectivity;
Cable modem
USB cable
Laptop
(software router?)
Patch cable
Network Switch
Patch cable
Xbox
IF this is possible, I need leads on where to get a software router, if anyone else is using one? I've tried download.com, but i don't know exactly what i'm looking for, and need something relatively simple.
