What ECU r u using on your 4A-GTE? Sun, 28 November 2004 22:32 Go to next message
Hey,

Just wondering what ECU people are using to run their 4A-GTE?

Whats the idle control like?
Fuel Economy?
Money Spent installing/Tuning?
Any complaints/praises?

Any info is much appreciated Smile

haltech E6A

- needs seperate idle control motor. NV commodore idle motor can be adapted very easy, i havent bothered and my car idles great when warm, not as great when cold but i put up with it cause its way better than when it was gze!

- economy depends on the tune and how you drive it.

- tune cost about $250 - $350 from JEM in moorebank. he knows his GTE's!

- complaint - E6A is damn old, has only one aux output which is controlling my thermo so i couldnt run the haltech boost controller. but the newer haltechs dont have that problem.
