hey guys me and ae86slaver were thinking of spraying my other bonnet in gloss black and moulding the vent to look flush with the bonnet,here is the actual pic of the bonnet, not very good one though sorry. Let me know what you guys think...
and hoping it might turn out something like this ??

looks cool, but very try hard ...
i dont see why other cars get the "try hard" comment when they black their bonnets but the 86's dont ...
get a proper (pricey) carbon fibre one if you are gonna do it .. do it right

Go for it J and tell me the results. So your current bonnet is a vent-addon?. I am considering doing the same. Jetspeed apparently make a scoop (inverted) for $140? My intake temps/engine temps in general are abit worrying so I've been considering giving them a call.
Whered you source yours?

yeah he's got two bonnets, one is matt black with no vent and the other is the one pictured.
i'm thinking about chopping mine up soon and putting the masif air dam vent

Hi,
I think some nice TA27/RA25 fluting on that bonnet would look very schmick. It certainly would be unique in that type of car.
In any event, keep us posted with pics.

thanks of the sugggestion guys, yeah i would go carbonfibre if i could afford to import one from japan, its just my car was too white, and need contrast, the vent is actually brought over from japan along with other parts, and i am not sure where you could possibly get a similar one here.
