Usually I just put it in but I was reading the corolla manual and it says I should drain the coolant holding thingy and the water from the radiator. It's got diagrams of a drain plug which is well below the radiator cap and inacessable if you're standing next to the car. I'm just wondering if these means you're meant to hoist the engine out of the car just to drain the coolant and radiator water. It sounds a bit silly to me which is why I was wondering if anyone could let me know where it is and also, on the coolant cap there's this hose that's like 3cm that's just open and leads to nowhere -- what does it do?
