To rebuild the GZE or buy a 2nd hand GZE that is the question Fri, 10 December 2004 00:27 Go to previous message
The issue is that I could be in a position that I may need to keep my car for another 2 1/2 years (It's an AE82 with a gze that already has had the motor in for over 2 years) and that I've already done 82k on a motor with an already supposed 90k.

So basically while I'm still a little cashed up I'm just looking for people's opinions on if they think it's worth rebuilding the gze I have (gen3) or if it's still worthwhile just sourcing a 2nd hand block?

I wouldn't be looking to mod either one much, probably just a pulley kit and new clutch (still runs the OEM clutch). So I'm just looking for what people think is the most 'practical' option..
