Dyno configaration? Wed, 15 December 2004 09:26 Go to previous message
G'day Toymodders

I am seeking knowledge on the different dyno configs around the world.
I am aware that there is a DNI config dyno which gives a lower reading of horsepower. And theres the SAE dyno which gives a higher reading. am i correct? i think they are used in different regions of the world, like America uses a SAE dyno and europe using DNI.
are there any other types of dyno configeration in the world that are beeing used?
does any 1 know conversion figures so that u can convert american HP readings to Australian HP readings.

I just wanted to know so that if i am browsing a foriegn site with HP readings, i can compare the HP acurately

Regards Jeff
